Every AI call costs us money — tokens on OpenAI, Anthropic, or our own compute. Free quotas stay free. Pro covers the rest so we never have to show ads or sell data.

Can I use Space without paying?

Yes. Free is not a trial. You can learn with Space for years without upgrading — FSRS, decks, import, sync, and offline learning stay free forever.

What if I cancel Pro?

Your decks, cards, and progress stay. You simply go back to Free limits on AI features. Nothing is deleted, nothing is locked.

Pricing questions

Is yearly really cheaper than monthly?
Yes. Yearly saves roughly 30% compared to paying monthly for twelve months. The exact savings are shown in the App Store or Play Store before you subscribe.
Do you offer student or education discounts?
Not yet. We're a small team and discount programs add overhead we can't support right now. Free already covers spaced repetition fully — most students never need Pro.
Is Pro tied to one device?
No. Pro is tied to your account and works on all six platforms — Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, Linux, and the web admin. Sign in, and it's active everywhere.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google since they process the payment. Their policies apply — usually a refund within 14 days if you haven't used Pro features significantly.
Does Apple Family Sharing work?
Yes. If you subscribe through the App Store, Pro is shareable via Family Sharing at no extra cost.
What happens to AI content I created if I cancel?
Everything AI generated — cards, explanations, chat history — stays in your library. You just lose the ability to generate new AI content beyond the Free monthly quota.
